We are delighted to announce that Westminster BSF has been awarded a RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Gold Award. Bouygues UK can also be proud of a corporate Gold Award along with 3 additional project awards: North Middlesex, Tower Hamlets BSF and Waltham Forest BSF.
These achievement awards have strict entry criteria and a portfolio submission required for each entry. They identify those companies who are committed to standards of excellence in Health & Safety and have proved to have robust policies, dynamic procedures and an improving performance at a recognised level.
This is the first time that BYUK has submitted applications to RoSPA and as such, receiving Gold Awards at the first time of asking is somewhat of an achievement.
Dean Murphy, Head of Corporate Health & Safety said, "This is a great achievement for the business, and recognises the improving safety culture and progress we have collectively made over the last year. Although on the right track, the awards recognise improvement and not achievement of excellence which is, and must remain, our vision. We must drive not only for improvement, but sustainable improvement. However, these awards are recognition of everyone's efforts to date and we should be proud".
